Da'tou is rescued by Gr' it-in....

Da'tou finally wakes up and has to find shelter for her and Gr' it-in....

Da'tou finds shelter for herself as well as Gr' it-in and goes up against Mister Conwell, the Assassin....

Da'tou wakes up with new pains and finds Gr'it-in awake and had cared for her wounds while she was unconcious, but she has grown impatient and heads home while he is gone....

Da'tou finally goes home, but her journey getting there could be better....

Da'tou and Gr'it-in become acquainted with each other....

Mayara, Da'tou's foster father, shows Da'tou her mother's belongings that had been hidden from her for 53 years and Gr'it-in brings some light onto what her Mother's role was in the yautja society before the crash, but her Mother's role was not an ordinary one....

Da'tou is called by the wise woman only to find out things she didn't want to know . . . .

After a sparring accident with Gr'it-in, Da'tou wakes up at home in bed and over hears a truly disturbing conversation between Mayara and another on a cell phone . . . .

Da'tou and Gr'it-in's relationship transcends to the next level, a level of affection in their own way but Gr'it-in must leave for a few days and the new hit man comes into town sending Da'tou back into the protection of the jungle once again . . . .

The fight between Da'tou and the assassin begins that quickly leads to a draw and a soon to be rematch. After the fight; injured, exhausted, cold, and hungry Da'tou comes across another problem.

Da'tou isn't so far from giving just yet. Found and nurtured by a neighboring village then taken home by hunters from West Xingasa. But on the way home comes across the assassin's scent and wants him dead . . . .

Part one of chapter thirteen. The assassin and Da'tou take turns in striking at oneanother. And Gr'it-in is back with the rest of the pack.

Da'tou thought the assassin was dead after his fall, but he is not. Now with broken legs and an arm, he can only lay in one spot as she interrogates him . . . .

Da'tou is told by the wise woman she has finally fulfilled the prophecy of the True Warrior. . .

The second customer, Mayara's partner, has finally surfaced, but it is someone Da'tou least expected . . . .

After going through hell and back, after killing her brother, Kere, Da'tou wakes up in the arms of her caretaker.

No matter how hard Da'tou tries, she can seemingly never escape who she really is deep inside nor can she and Gr'it-in have a moments peace with the Yautja pack hanging around.
